In this table, the team totals are centered by the 2025 national average of +0.7 standard wins. The team totals on the Staff Ratings page are not centered.
The Centered StdWin* column is the expected record above or below a 6-6 regular season, if:
- The team faced opponents with equal talent to its own roster
- The team faced opponents with average coaching
For example, if Iowa (+3.0) faced 12 teams with roster talent equal to their own and average coaching (+0.0), then Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeyes would have an expected record of 9-3.
